Scorpions “The Sails of Charon”

Mainly because it showcases “Guitar God” Ulrich Roth. This dude burns on the guitar, and his legend grows. Uli is not a crazy showman like Yngwie or the others, but stands his post, and lets the fret-work do the talking. Make sure you check the videos that HV has posted to check out Uli.
I have all of the early Scorps “Lonesome Crow”, “Fly to The Rainbow”, “In Trance”, “Virgin Killer”, “Taken by Force”, and the live “Tokyo Tapes”. A lot heavier than the more radio friendly version of the Scorpions with guitarist Matthias Jabs, but classics worthy of a buy if you are curious, and appreciate some SERIOUS guitar playing.
