shooting star debutRock God Cred Report:

Click here to check the 80’s lost classic from Shooting Star “Last Chance”.  Heavy radio airplay during my high school years on the West Coast.  Loved the next album “Hang Onto Your Life” even more.  Gotta dig the two lead vocalists.

Buy “Shooting Star”…you will remember this when you play it…a worthy buy.

UFO “Stopped By a Bullet (of Love)”

ufo walk on waterRock God Cred Report:

Click here to check UFO’s “Stopped By a Bullet (of Love)”…from the 1998 comeback (of the popular lineup with Michael Schenker) album.  Oh my this stuff was good.  Would have sounded like a nice follow up to the live “Strangers” lp.  This tune kicks ass.

I have mentioned before that this was the tour that I was going to see them in Reno, NV…tickets in hand…but Schenker quit the band the night before in San Francisco…uggh.  That one still hurts.

The band is on the road now, with lead guitarist Vinnie Moore filling in nicely.  I am hoping to hit a show in Santa Cruz, Ca. (Oct. 21) with my pal of many years.  Yep…we love us some UFO.

Buy “Walk on Water”

Check the US tour dates below, maybe they will come to a town near you.
