Mellencamp is definitely in his element when he’s on stage. The live versions of “Longest Days”, “My Sweet Love”, and “A Ride Back Home” are true gems. Hopefully this becomes a trend, and John will release more live companion cd’s with his classics from the past “Scarecrow, Uh Huh, Nothing Matters, American Fool, and Lonesome Jubilee”. A nice touch!
