Santana “Jingo”…New Santana Double CD Release From The “Woodstock Experience” Series
Rock God Cred Report:
This is the second review of five great new releases of the Woodstock Experience sessions that we will visit. The cd’s are being released to coincide with the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Woodstock Festival. They pair a keystone album by the artist with a second disc of their live set at the original Woodstock Concert 8/17/69.
The studio album choice is the debut classic “Santana”…featuring future Journey founding member Gregg Rolie on vocals and keyboards, Michael Shrieve on drums, Jose “Chepito” Areas, and Michael Carabello on congas. Plenty of hits to be had on “Santana”…”Evil Ways”, “Jingo”, “Soul Sacrafice”, and “Waiting”.
Santana basically replicates the debut album for his live set at Woodstock. Remember…this is the concert that broke Santana to the national public. A blistering live set highlighted by “Soul Sacrafice”. Listen to a young, hungry Carlos Santana at the start of his long legacy.
The Woodstock cd Tracklist: “Waiting”, “Evil Ways”, “You Just Don’t Care”, “Savor”, “Jingo”, “Persuasion”, “Soul Sacrafice”, and “Fried Neck Bones, and Some Home Fries”

Paul McCartney is coming to Dallas to play a show in Jerry Jones Mega Stadium for the Cowboys. I would like to go to cover it…but I don’t want to be one of 80,000 sitting in the nose bleeds watching it on the Jumbo Tron. Anyone have a suite, or some press credentials??? Haaaaaaa! Invite your pal.
