Gamma (Ronnie Montrose) “Mean Streak”

Click here to check Ronnie Montrose’s solo band from the 80’s Gamma “Mean Streak”…naaaaasty tune! If you are not familiar with Ronnie Montrose he was a studio musician, and sideman for years. He hooked up with Sammy Hagar in the early 70’s to form the band Montrose…good stuff! “Rock Candy”, “Bad Motor Scooter”, etc…
I do believe the first couple of Gamma albums had Alan “Fitz” Fitzgerald on bass. He later became the shades/knit cap wearing keyboardist for Nightranger. Fitz was also a member of the “Post Sammy Hagar” incarnations of Montrose.
The Gamma 2 cover is one of my favorite covers of all time. Clever Clever!
